How The Grid handles account, job, property and billing information.

Plain-English Summary

The Grid stores the information needed to run a practical electrical job workflow: account details, properties, job notes, photos, materials, quotes, certificate preparation and Site Pack sharing choices. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, not stored in The Grid.

Information We Collect

  • Account details such as name, email, company, trade, supplier preference and cloud archive preference.
  • Job and property records such as addresses, client contact details, room notes, component records, material lists, quote data, certificates and Site Pack settings.
  • Uploaded or generated files such as photos, document imports, Site Pack snapshots and transfer packs.
  • Subscription records from Stripe such as customer ID, subscription status, plan, renewal dates and Founding Member number. Card details stay with Stripe.
  • Demo lead details where someone unlocks the public demo and agrees to be contacted.

How We Use It

  • To provide the app workflow, keep user records separate, prepare job materials, create exports and manage Site Pack links.
  • To manage subscriptions, trial access, cancellation status, billing support and Founding Member allocation.
  • To respond to support requests, improve the product and identify launch issues during field testing.
  • To keep a record that a user accepted the Terms, Privacy Policy, professional-responsibility warning and trial billing disclosure before checkout.

Photos, Documents And Site Packs

  • Only upload job information you have authority to process and share.
  • Site Pack links may disclose property and job information to recipients. Use access codes, expiry dates and audience settings where appropriate.
  • Issued Site Packs may be frozen as snapshots so later job edits do not change the shared record.
  • Transfer packs are designed for moving The Grid job data between users and intentionally exclude share tokens.

Sharing And Processors

  • The Grid uses Base44 to host the app and data. Stripe handles checkout, billing, payment method storage and invoices.
  • Data may be processed by platform providers needed to run the app, store uploaded files, send emails, operate analytics or provide support.
  • The Grid does not sell customer job data.

Retention, Export And Deletion

  • Users can export property packs before removing data from their active workspace.
  • Account deletion removes app-controlled profile, job, property, material, quote, certificate, learning and Site Pack records, and attempts to stop active Stripe subscription renewal before deleting app records.
  • Uploaded file storage, backups, logs and payment records may be retained where required for security, platform operation, legal, tax or billing reasons.

Your Rights

  • You can ask to access, correct, export or delete personal information held about you, subject to legal or platform-retention limits.
  • For privacy requests, use the contact route published by The Grid or ReviveandMonetise.com.
  • You can also manage billing data directly through Stripe's hosted billing portal inside your account page.
